I got my Vega for $229 from Packard Woodworking but it was on sale. Best usual price I found not on sale was $249 (includes shipping) at Tool-Plus.com. That's a good deal. For the Midi 8500 you need to order and wait for the factory to make it. I guess everyone is buying the smaller Vega so they are backed up. Mine took 5 weeks for delivery.
The Jet Duplicator is sold for $119 at Penn State Industries. I chose to get the Vega.

Found this review on it, just what I thought it to be:
[I]Trust me save your money and buy a Vega, this machine is a knock off of the Vega and shows how cheap it is built with slop in the stylus holder not to mention took almost TWO WEEKS and many emails and a couple of phone calls to get it returned Stay away from this item [I]
Go with Tools Plus in Ct. great people, service and price!! I have yet to find a duplicator that can compare to the Vega's, one reason they are always on back order.

Just picked up another Vega from tools plus. I sell off my used one every other year. Took them 3 weeks to ship as it was back ordered. They let me know this when I ordered so it was not a problem.

The chain and sproket on the outside front of the Amazon one is a finger grinder if you ask me. Bad design!
