Dirty water at Cuttyhunk

Hey guys,
I know a bunch of you fish cuttyhunk at different times during the year. I too am a big fan of the fishery there, (for obvious reasons.) I normally take my boat over from falmouth and pitch eels and plugs along the boulder-strewn southside of the island. Yesterday I went there to find that the ugly weather of earlier this week had dirtied the normally clear water so that there was only a foot or two visibility. This happened to me once last year as well. Each time I spent roughly and hour fishing before lack of action/fear of not seeing rocks prompted me to move back up the elizabeths. Has anyone here had luck fishing cuttyhunk in dirty water? Any info would be appreciated.

On another note, my buddies and I had decent luck along the elizabeth's with a 43" 29 lber and a 45" 38 lber. Nothing like that fish DaveS had, but the latter was a pretty solid bass. Good luck to all.
