Idiot moves on a hot day

So I finished painting up some pencils and I am wiring them. I put one after bending the wire at the tail on the screw driver. Grip wire with heavy wire cutters like I always do then wrapped forward over the wire pushing the plier away from me. Then, yes, I regrip the wire with the wire cutter/pliers and pulled it towards me. Ands needless to say the pliers slipped of the end of the wire and wham they smash into lower jaw and lip. Lucky I didn't hit the tooth, and chip it or worse. Will be using vice grips from now on, and instead of releasing grip to change position I will just turn the plug like I should have been doing all the time. Its not many times a 62 year old can look menacing, but my fat and discolored lip will make someone think I got into it with a bad guy.
