Oddly enough there was a seal release back after the Exxon Valdez oil incident, and the seal was released after a full ($80,000.00) recovery only to be attacked and killed by a killer whale in full view of the rescue boat and onlookers.

Same also happened to a rehabbed Cal. Sea Lion a few years ago. White cam up and nailed it. Got to love it.
