TEENAGE NINJA MUTANT MAFIA TURTLES

I went home around noon and found a small sun turtle about the size of a quarter trying to break into my garage. I get these in the yard every year including snapping turtles. They lay eggs in my mulch beds. I went back at 4pm and found another turtle in the exact same spot as where I found his brother 4 hours earlier. When I say exact same spot i mean EXACT (wierd) I would usually let these little guy's down to the water but If I do they will end up around Cuttyhunk in no time flat with the raging rapids If anyone needs a couple baby mafioso turtles let me know. Free to the taking. I'll post a pic later. THE TURTLES ARE EARLY THIS YEAR

If they didn't take, cut the nightcrawler up into little pieces.

Yeah I just tossed it in as I had to come back to the office. I will be fathering the turtles until someone takes them or the stream settles. I may even chew it up like a momma bird

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.

OK, one of the 2 turtles had it's 1st meal today (at least that we witnessed). FYI: I use water out of my pond not the tap so that is why the algae. Also, the turtles live the 1st couple weeks on nutrients left from the egg so not surprising it took 2 1/2 weeks to eat..look very closely and you can see the last of the worm wiggling.

The turtles are no bigger than a US quarter in size.

very cool, I worked one summer collecting sea turtle eggs off of Little Cumberland Island, a very interesting but exhausting job.

I live in Brockton, there is no way a couple of turtles are "taking over this city"!

Awesome!!!! The water level is way down now and I have seen plenty of turtles. But I'm yet to see a snapper which is very weird because there are a bunch back there. I usually see them in the pond or my yard or at least see their eggs after a rain. Nice to see they are eating.
