I don't get it.... Public relations director at the Aquarium is quoted as saying the seal population in New England is depleted......

If you re-read it I THINK what he said was
blah blah blah... PRIOR to the rebound... blah blah blah...
then he mentions the populations being depleted. Pretty sure that comment was in reference to PRIOR to the rebound.
at least that;'s how I read it.

I saw some free jumping makos in that same depth of water just a little more east 2 days ago. That should be a shark magnet...the stench will significant.

Had one wash up on Smith's Pt. ACK couple years ago looks like a hump back, it stunk to high heaven, just had to get upwind of it

I guess sometimes dad's don't know all that much ... as I thought my 8-year-old daughter would be interested in seeing the photo of the dead whale ... her comment to me, "Don't show me that."
