Best fishing partner
Last night Jacob and I went out for a few hours and hit the shore for some striper action. We were there for about 2 hours without a single bump. As we were leaving he accidentally knocked over my surf bag and it dumped out. We picked up the contents and as we started off he noticed he forgot one on the beach. He asked if he could take one more cast using the plug that we almost left, so he put it on and caught the only fish of the night. It was only 23", but a bass none the less. He was pretty happy that he neat dad.

great picture....
It's a shame I don't always carry a camera with me, remembering less and less as I age, I probably should.
Good for you guys. Keep him close at this age and he will circle back after full maturity.

Nice memories for both of you.
I love that time of the day and I doubt he'll forget that setting sun.
