Aurora
I saw this on fb earlier. Keep an eye north tonight! I'm going to head out in a few hours to see if I can spot anything.
I drove 11 hours in a vain attempt to see it when I was in AK... Hopefully I can drive 20 and see it here!

No dice. Cloud cover moved in from due north when I went out to check, around 11... Bright ass half moon didn't help either.

Only saw them once, back in the early 80's when I was a teenager. Did not know what an Aurora was then and was not sure if was whatever I smoked that night that was causing the flying colors...  |

I used to see these all the time years ago when I worked 12-8. If they were real close it almost seemed like you were driving right through them. Always green, never any other color.
