Iwannakeeper.....

Nice to meet you and your girl (excuse my memory, I am TERRIBLE with names) this AM....

Sorry it wasn't more productive...., but as I said, perhaps summer doldrums were setting in.....wish I hadn't missed that early hit....I get the feeling that 2-3 hours earlier would have been a bit better.......

I stayed another hour or so, for more of the same.....at least a few people came out and cleaned up the beach......that was disgusting......but just so ya know, it's not usually like that.....evidently, they had a big bonfire last night with a lot of drunken yahoos....normally, you might see some trash here and there, but NOTHING like it was this AM....

Oh, and the bugs usually aren't that bad either, but hot, humid days and no wind.......I'm still spitting them out...........

We'll do it again sometime..........perhaps a different spot......

Michele and I enjoyed meeting you as well. It is a beautiful spot and was a great spot to watch the sun come up.

As a rookie, I am most interested in meeting people and finding spots. The fish will come with time and continued effort.

Glad to hear that the beach was an exception and not the rule. It is a pretty place to be such a mess.

Anyway - best of luck to you, and thanks for showing me a new spot.

-IWK
