"Paying It Forward"

I had a particularly memorable morning of fishing last season but it was more about the rewards of being kind to someone than the fantastic fishing I experienced that morning!

That gentleman Chris told me he had done some commercial salmon fishing where he had moved from (Washington State). He handled that fish like he had done it before......no stranger to working a fish in for sure! Very nice guy...we had a fun time! I cut out the part where he subdued the fish with a rock! LOL!

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

More seriously, Larry gives away I think, more than he makes somedays as far as his plugs are concerned. Thats the reason for my ha ha comment.

That's good stuff man. Good for both of you. It's nice to see someone just doing something nice for someone else when fishing instead of being aggravated the kid asking questions at the canal or getting mad he had the nerve to fish so close. I can't count how many times people have been rude to me at the canal for just kind of watching them hoping to learn something. It's fishing not turning water into wine. I get the whole putting your time in thing but shouldn't it be about passing basic knowledge forward just like someone showed you.

That's cool. Just showed a guy at work. I told him there are a lot of good guys down there, that's why I keep going down there. Keep it up, I like them.

Atta boy Larry. Another fine video to help us through this endless winter and another friendly face on the Canal!

Awesome!

Now I too.... know who to fish next to.

Tackle, advise, landing, and full video documentation.

The few times I have been at the canal...the most I ever get is some
guy grumbling or one of those ferrets/weasle critters that live in the
rocks chirping...until I relocate. Those things freak me out.

Nice video and message Larry. Thank you for sharing!

1 @ 32 Pledge. Our beloved Striped Bass are in trouble AGAIN.

I fished through the lean years and don't want to live through another collapse of the stock.

2 fish @ 28" is ridiculous.
