I may have missed an early thread on these....but has anyone tried "Jig Skinz" on plugs.......just curious. Looks like a decent idea. (jigskinz.com)

pretty slick idea actually.
i could see the clear ones being a nice way to save the finish on expensive tuna plugs.
they need a green mac.
basically its an easter egg shrinky dink for a plug

Bump for an old thread. Bought some at the show today, decided to cover a sp clone that I bought at mikes big sale, held the end with a pair of vice grips and poured boiling water out of a tea kettle, it was awesome, really cool product. Pretty slick.

I tried these two seasons ago (I think). I used them on some needles.
I found they helped preserve Envirotex from gouging out, but they did eventually fray & rip from hook point damage, so ultimately I think they were minimally useful. Just my $.02.
Johnny, if you find they are really helping once the season starts, please let me know. I have a bunch of them hanging in my shop.

you can use the clear ones for stencils to do your mack patterns and such. I have been using heavy duty shrink wrap for my stencils for years.
