No Surprise-----Water is cold

Splashed the boat this morning. 45.4 degrees in Warwick Cove but 43 at Conimicut. Got a report that there are schoolies starting to move up the bay.
First Pogies are around May 10th. We'll see

No boat, back in the suds.

Pulled the shrink wrap yesterday, batteries are in, need to get the bearings on the trailer looked at, serious clean up and then test run in bay before heading out on any fishing trips. Probably will hit some early schoolie spots the end of the month and look forward to black sea bass moving into the bay.

Where is this global warming they speak of, this is just not right and from the traffic report of dozens of accidents, it sounds like people quickly forget how to drive in it.
