Need help with recommendation for a pro shop that serves Ipswich Bay/Gloucester Area

Good Morning Folks,

It's been a while.. Lookin' forward to getting out on the water and seeing some of you this year!

I have a very good friend that just bought a place on Ipswich bay near the mouth of the Ipswich river. He asked for my help with getting completely outfitted for fishing this year. He'll mostly be Kayak fishing and beach fishing.

Anyways, I'm wondering if someone could recommend a great pro shop in that immediate vicinity. He's looking to purchase high quality equipment and get excellent advice and service. He tends to be a person that spares no expense and is very loyal to a single place when he finds the right fit. What shops would you North Shore guys recommend?

Thanks,

Brian

Not my neck of the woods, but I've heard good things about Surfland Bait and Tackle in the vicinity of Plum Island.

Thanks Guys. Fin and Feather looks like the spot. It's definitely the closest to his place.

Any people in there that are particularly good to work with?

None are really out of his way, except the Boat Shop. Surfland and FO are not to be missed if he is going to be gearing up.

We're leaving for intensive management training next Sat for 3 weeks. Newburyport to Kennebunkport for a week, back to Newburport, then NPT for a week. I will be back in Narragnsett mid- month and will be ready to fish. I've been pounding away at potential "bigger holdover spots" without a bump. Mike would be happy to know that i'm taking my skunkings like a man

Let's do some bass fishing when I get back. i have a spot for your trailer...
