Wiring Question
With a trolling motor up front, I'm forced to install a new pole bow light every couple years, they just don't hold up like a permanent bow light might. I've never had an issue; new base, new light, two wires, seal as best you can and back in business. Picked up a new base and pole light from West Marine, wired temporarily a few weeks back to make sure the light was working. Also put on a new light on the T-top, it's working and the bow light isn't. Tested and I have 24V at the base, and pull cover off the light and nothing at the light. Thinking that's odd but every so often you get a defective one out of the package, so I order and get replacement and same problem. Now I know it's not the light, but I have power at the base, the base is for that light and the connection are good, what am I missing?
