Question Whats the name...............

of the bait clogging up the Breachways right now? Long, skinny with a little forked tail. Swims like its got no spine. Hit em hard with the old Sluggo.

As the tide dropped we saw 2 big fish laying dead on the side of the channel. One was around 40# and the other 25#. The stomachs appeared gutted but eveything else intact. Weird. I have heard of this lately but it was the first time seeing it.

Ah yes the sand eel spawn.

spineless, delectable sand eels. Net 'em up, ice 'em up.

Thanks boys. I know the big baits, but can't identify all the small ones yet. Breachways are looking like a big spaghetti diner. And the Sluggo is driving them nuts.

BW - the weird thing is I heard someone else mention seeing dead bass with the stomach ripped open. Maybe its just the way a whole dead bass breaks down. You'd have to be doing pretty good to cull a 40#r. Maybe
