WTB 80 or 130 Class rod and reel setup
Looking to buy a bent butt combo for short money. I can go like 350.
The outfit can be roached out. Makes no difference to me.
If you have one collecting dust, I'd like to make a bid
I can sweeten the offer with plugs or another rod and reel setup (or two) to make up the difference.
Thanks
Rick

Does it come with a rod, Mike?
If not, I'll still probably take it

I already found a pretty good 6 '6" bent butt 80 class. Should be good to go. I have a couple of 50 wide stand ups.
Wanted a bigger rod that I could fight from the gunnal.
Anybody got a used harpoon?

Oh, beach sharking. It would be nice, Oak.
We're gonna watch some balloons up Cape Ann way. My buddy Scott is looking to dump his boat for $3500 and kick in another $3000. We'll try for something around 30 feet (it will need work). Then maybe next year we take the six-pack test.

I've got 2 setups available. these are budget setups and are used but in good working order. first up is a penn graphlite 50 2 speed on stainless butt. it has a scoop out of the front grip where it meets the rod - we got a shark on a spinning setup w/braid and the angler was not paying attention. originally bought from capecodkid a couple of years ago. works great- I've used it for a bunch of shark trips, cck used it for tuna trolling. $235

I have a not so gently used Penn 80 that has not been used since being serviced years ago. Dust collector for $100.
WDMSO,I am also looking to dump a couple of 50vsx combos loaded w Jerry Brown on CMS rods with Winthrop guides. These combos are in pristine condition and really should be fished, they have been on a couple boat rides 2 years ago. Let me know if you are interested, they are mint by any standard.

Chris, I'll take the 80 for $100. Might have some trouble driving as I'm on meds.
I can send you a check if you can ship it. Maybe in May when I'm better, I can get the saws. I really want them, too.
Tell me the price to ship the 80 and pm me your addy and I'll send it out right quick.
Thanks
Rick

Meds are too hard to get now. Charlie Baker made it super hard to get scrips.
I'd like to get my hands on the 80 if you can ship it. I want to see how it sits on my shorter rod. Just tell me how much to ship and I'll pay for it all, if it's ok with you. I'll come down and help with the saws later.
Let me know. Thanks,
Rick
Ps- you're a good friend. Thanks for putting up with my bs.
