Watch hill

Hi guys,
I'll be in Stonington, CT Saturday night and was thinking of catching the incoming at Watch Hill Sat night into Sun morning. I haven't fished there since I was a little kid and I believe much has changed (parking, etc) since then. If anyone wouldn't mind pointing me in the right direction as to where to park and any other pointers it would be greatly appreciated. The tide looks pretty good (i believe low tide is 1:44 AM on Sunday morning) and I think I'll be able to catch most of the incoming.
Any pointers are appreciated!
thanks,Tom

Sadly I have not been there recently so I cannot offer advice om parking - other than some of our previous parking has pretty much disappeared.

If you're parking there that late, you should be fine on the street. Don't quote me on that, but I think you'll be OK. After the 4th of July is probably a different story, though. Just park in one of the spots on the hill. A guard from Taylor Swift's house will probably say hi. Tread quietly on your walk to the Light....

Over 65 you can park right in the lot at the light I believe. You shouldn't have any issues given the time of year and hour. I have fished there and Napatree at night even in the summer with no issues.

I too haven't been there in a while, but what I do before going to a new spot or hit an old haunt I'll Google earth it. This will show me (6 month old images) and see new patterns in the water terrain.
They use to have useful tool that you could measure a path in feet which is good reference for measuring time.

Good luck out there weather will be good.

You can park on the street after 6 pm or in the main parking lot in Watch Hill.
You can NOT park at the light house after 8 pm
