We lost a great guy this past week
I am very sad to report that my long time friend Don Shaw AKA Gone Fishin passed away last Tuesday from cancer
Don was a member of the MBBA sense it's start in the 50's and fought for our rights for beach access he loved bring on the beach and fishing
I am going to miss him dearly, he always had a great story
Please say a prayer for his wife and family

No way. So sad to hear this. What a gentleman and fellow MBBA member. Pretty sure Don had the lowest member number still active. My thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family.

Sad to hear Bob! I remember well crossing paths so many times with Don and his lovely wife Barbara at Race Point as we chased fish and solitude. Don was a great guy and he will be missed around here. Condolences to his wife Barbara and his family and friends.

That really and truly sucks.....he was such an awesome guy. I would always see him at the Plum Island events. If somebody could please post the arrangements that would be much appreciated.

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.
1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!
It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

Ross, after I joined S-B, he was the first guy off of here that I met in person. I bumped into him on the beach at PI.....talked to him for about 20 minutes, he gave me one of his plugs.....such a super guy.
