Make sure you subscribe to On The Water magazine. You will learn much from this publication. Pay attention to many of the people on this site as they are also great sources for information and are often sharing with others. Most importantly, you must ingest the knowledge, and take from it what is most helpful to you in your particular style of fishing, whether it be flyfishing, plugging, bait fishing, etc. Join a fishing club such as the Mass Striped Bass Association, check the website at
www.MSBA.net. These meetings are informative and often have great speakers that you can learn from. Also try to get to know and go fishing with other people and learn from those who have been doing this for awhile. You will find most fisherman are willing to lend you a hand and get you on your way. Bait and Tackle shop owners are also there to help, so keep fishing, keep asking questions and I wish you great luck and tight lines.
