New Penn Spinfisher

I heard that the new long cast model has a flaw. If the spool is all the way up you cant open the bail all the way as it won't clear.I was looking into one as its homegrown. Anyone know if this is true. Can't find one in my area to play with to see if its true.

Got a chance to use one of the longcast 8000 by Penn on Cutty this weekend. Impresive reel. Had no problems with the bail an it cast sweet. Had 50lb powerpro on it. Nice retreive an I couldn't get it to screw up even though I tried. Time will tell how they hold up but it's comparable to the old Emblem just feels a little tighter an better built. Ron
