Found the owner on sol.

Pretty impressive how quick the network is. The guy was extremely detailed on the contents.

My action is neither noble or classy....but I do appreciate the good words.

All I did was collect someones belongings and try to find the owner. I am glad that the result was quick and painless and the owner did the right thing and motored out to me and collected his stuff. He also handed me a couple of nice plugs he built as a thank you. He is a really nice guy and I am glad I rescued his stuff for him.

It was one of those moments where I wondered if I should pick it up or leave it hoping the owner would return for it.

Reminds me of the time i left my belt, new commando bag, boga, pliers, and digital camera laying on the ground at a block island parking spot.
When i raced back over an hour later, a guy there said i look like i just lost something and gave it back to me.
Losing gear can really suck, as some of it isnt just easily available for repurchase.
Nice going .

Well Done Puppet !! Last year Bassinaround did the same thing for me. I dropped my surf belt with a plug bag, pliers, ect. on it, and he posted his finding of it on this site. Fine folks meet here !

Note: i now keep a laminated card inside my bag between the tubes with my name, address, phone, email in case i lose it again. I also have an emergency contact should i be found washed up somewhere ( God forbid, but its a risky game we play)

Right on Rob!

I am a pretty simple guy...I already have everything I want and then some. I feel that karma has already dealt me a pretty good hand. I am always having fun...what could be better than that?
