iTunes/iPhone/Apple Music ?

I am having a very hard time trying to get to my music on my iPhone, when I got the iPhone 6 all I could get was the music I bought thru the iTunes store, that wasn't a problem because I had enough on there to get me thru a day of work so I never bothered to find out why I couldn't get my other music on there. Now sense the last upgrade apparently you either need to download iTunes Match or Apple Music and I believe I have to pay for either. Can anyone could give me any info on how to get my music on the phone without paying

Thanks Bob

The Apple Music app has a streaming service that you can pay for, but you can still access all your bought or ripped tunes through the "my music" tab in the app

Apple somehow how knows if the music on your computer is pirated or not. When I upgraded my Mac a while back I lost a massive collection that I acquired from napster 15 years ago
This is why you should always back up data on a hard disc. That said, if you didn't have it backed up, you probably lost it for good.

I have a paid subscription to Rhapsody and couldn't care less about keeping music on an iPod or a computer.

Agreed (New computer/new phone) but I had everything backed up, so I didn't lose anything I guess I'll either have to pay or go without

I use Musify on my iphone. I got a couple hundred songs and have them organized in playlists.

Everything is better on the rocks.

Like nebe said, reinstall the music folders to iTunes on your pc, and manually sync what you want onto your phone through iTunes

your music is already in folders.

open itunes and create a playlist w/same name as that music folder. drag and drop your music folder into that playlist.

now run a synch so your new playlist goes onto your device.

Domination takes full concentration..

Thanks everyone, I figured it out

1) plug your phone in to your computer
2) click on the phone icon in the top left corner
3) click on music
4) in the main body of the iTunes page click synk music
5) choose either playlists or artist
6) choose your music
7) on the lower right corner click apply
8) enjoy your music
