did some groundfishing

we took a trip out to the bank today. conditions were perfect and the bite was pretty good. there were a lot of cod in the mix from little ones to market size fish, dom got a tripleheader of decent cod - he was moaning and groaning while reeling it up. Beamie was the high hook w/ mikej right behind him. there was a ton of juvi haddock out there.

Heard there was a bust this week BuzzBay....over 150 BSB. Season closed, no license, etc...

One boat caught.......how many are flying under the radar?
What a shame. Hopefully authorities are taking these issues more seriously and applying AND ENFORCING everything they can to the guilty.

...it finally happened, there are no more secret spots

We had a similar day this past Thursday. Lots of Haddock lots of throw backs and some real good size cod. Sucks to have to throw back $20 bills like that but it is what it is.
