Hi guys, Taking wife up to Bar harbor first week of August. Never been there know nothing about it. Figured some guys here would know what's good to do up there. Any suggestions? Bars resturants mnt bike spots kayak? We are bringing both. Should I even bother bringing rods?

We ate at Cafe This Way two years ago and it was excellent. Plenty of opportunities to kayak.

Went last year , I was the only person with surf rods on the truck. Lol. So leave them at home
Enjoy down town. And buy roadside fish.

Just remember the tides are much larger there so make sure you have an exit strategy when in the tide zone.
