The Kastmaster is my "go to" lure. When all else fails it doesn't.My favorite lure.
And you're definitely right about the 1oz blue/chrome ones imitating the peanuts that have been around.I had so much fun last November off the Newport beaches, freezing my arse off catching schoolie bass literally by the 100s on lite tackle using that very lure. Can't wait for that time of year again!

i also think they are better out of the package...you don't even need to sharpen the hooks! they dig great in the water, cast great, and produce. they love a little surf kickin' up too. if you can find any left, i'd buy a couple. i think this run is almost sold out!

no question best darter hands down. No other darter even comes close. Everyone should have a darter in their bag. If you want the best, this is it.

I have seen guys at the point at Montauk and I swear it seems like darters are all they fish...I never really fished them that much until I saw one dangling from nearly every rod at the point a few years back. Tattoo's are a work of art...if you snap one off you will shed a tear and a explitive.

I even hung one on my Christmas tree as a decoration....really! My tree is decorated with plugs.
