Party boat for tautog/sea bass?

A friend and I are thinking of taking the day off next Thursday and hopping on a party type boat, trying to put some tog and/or sea bass in the freezer. Anyone have any good experience?

Frances Fleet (has a boat for tog and one for cod/sea bass)
Seven B's
Island Current

These are the 3 I know of in RI. Island Current claims near-daily boat limits of tog and sea bass.

Any recommendations or warnings??

Thanks. I think On The Water did a TV show with him this season, spring fluking in the bay, he looked like a great guy. Unfortunately, can't pay for a whole 6-pack boat myself. Well I could afford it, but I couldn't then afford the divorce lawyer I'd need.

OK, thanks again. I didn't see that on his website, and his boat doesn't look like the kind of boat that normally offers a spot for singles. I will contact him.

Appreciate it.

Capt. Charlie Donilon often has days with spots for singles on his boat Snappa, docked in Galilee.

Try the Blackhawk out of Niantic. He is moving the boat to Stonington, it is a shorter drive from CT, and I have had great luck on over a dozen trips over the years. They know where there are fish, and burn fuel to get to them. Weekdays are less crowded.

Frank Blount runs a nice operation with the Frances Fleet, I've been on some of the long range cod trips. But I don't think you could go far wrong with any of the boats you mentioned.
