Question I want to make some leaders...

I want to make some leaders out of some 50lb trilene for drifting for bass, how long should they be? thanks

18 to 24 inches, depending on what where when and how. I tend to like around 18 to 20. I also only use flouro Carbon. Are you live linning, three waying, sand eeling, chunking ???

When I use Sand eels I use 17 to 20 # flouro leader with a 2/0 Gammy live or octupus. I no the hook sounds small but it works great!

Live lining I use up to 30" leader of 30# Flouro on a 3 way.

Chunking about 24" floro 30# Oct. Gammy some time 3 way, egg sinker, fish finder ect.......

Works for me.
