I always give feedback, only been asked a half dozen times.

Yes some questions are lame on angler surveys but at least in CT they appear to occur in places that may be on the chopping block for trout or salmon stocking, or high interest in angling pressure.

Sample studies are good for fishing and Fishermen in general. IMO.

The other part of the equation is that it says the government, state and or fed is paying attention.

Last year I was surveyed in RI by a woman with NOAA after fishing all night then spear fishing. I also referred her to probable times for finding more people. The same survey was followed up by a NOAA phone survey.

2o years ago i would have jumped on this gig. I have been questioned a few times. Twice at the west wall after dink fest other times at Cap Cronin.

Everything is better on the rocks.
