Is that the one that looks like a herring? If it is I've seen them in the tackle shops up my way. They are about $14. They don't weigh as much as they were supposed to, from what I can tell. Seemed about 2 oz. Very large and flatt, wonder how they might cast into the wind.

I'll try and post a picture when I get home. Weighs just over 2 ounces.

Thumbs up

Picked up a few, they were flying off the shelves at the store yesterday. They have a beautiful olive color not pictured - someone beat me to it.

as with ALL gags plugs, expect them to suck! they won't swim, cast for $hit, and will probably follow the rule the mambos established and break. save your money and buy wood!

I wholeheartedly disagree with the previous reply about Gags plugs. Yes they are plastic and if smashed on a rock will be fine.

I for one and I am far from the only one think that the Black Mambo Minnow is one of the ABSOLUTE best night plugs on the market today.

the hooks are the standard trebles found everywhere thes days and we who upgrade our hooks to 4x will do so

Oops

I wholeheartedly disagree with the previous reply about Gags plugs. Yes they are plastic and if smashed on a rock will break but if dropped on a rock will be fine.

I have never had one break with a fish hitting it.

Lightbulb

Toby-

I agree they probably could be constructed a little more durably, but they do catch fish.
