left the house wednesday at 9 am, in the sardine can by 12:15, on the ferry by 1, made it to MV by 2. fished all night, barely made it on the 930 ferry back. home by 230, slepted until today
somehow the fish gods were kind to me this year and I became good friends with a fellow artist who lives on the island. He was kind enough to invite me out for an all night fish until you fall over. took me to one south shore spot and one north shore spot. found life and fish, I got to christen a a few plugs i made this winter, and left my buddy with some plugs and flies.
my first trip out and I'm hooked. that place is beautiful, I could stare at that water all day long its beautiful. It was sad to see so much garbage and mainly ballons in the middle of no where though.
oh and I scored an old barely used maria's in blue! that will be used heavily come september!
