Rainshadow SW 1088 blank?
Looking for one. American made preferably. I snapped mine today.... pilot error. Plug snagged on a lobster trap behind me during a cast. Boom!....... Felt like I had killed an old friend. Got that rod from Capesams in the Katrina raffle. Been my go to 9 footer ever since..... The guys I suspect might have one are either gone (Saltheart, onedozenraw) missing (Capesams, Megabyte) or relocated (MikeP)

Best of luck.Snapped mine in a trunk "accident" quite a few years ago and have been looking for one since then.
I won mine here in a raffle.I believe MikeCC built it...I remember picking it up at his shop.Mine was also my go to.Still have the pieces to this day.

One of the best 9' rods that I ever used was a custom conventional, built by Mike at M&D's, on a Loomis SW 108-20 blank, which was the same blank used for their one piece SUR 1084 production rod. They don't make that in one piece anymore, but they do make a 1064, at 8'10", in one piece. The tip was soft enough to throw an eel or even a 7" Bomber, but it had tons of balls to turn a fish. I loved throwing Sluggos on 1.5 oz heads with it at the Gut on MV.
