I am taking a break from fishing this weekend. My son's 10th birthday party and his first preseason pop warner game. My first free weekend since last June. Tightlines to all you fisherpeople out there.

Demolition Derby at the Marshfield Fair tonight. Hopefully my car won't catch on fire like last year. Cars are Orange with tiger stripes. Colarri Motors and Tiger Towing if any one is there watching.
Fishing tomorrow night. I am due to catch a striper. Sad to admit but I haven't caught a striper since com. season closed, and not from a lack of trying.

Redlight I'll be at the fair tonight too, my son loves the Demo. Watch out for Jacks wife, she's a two time champ at Marshfield, she'll be in the purple volvo.
More fishing at fearings pond this weekend too, the new way to catch sunnys down there is to put a piece of bread in a net and they swim right in.
oh yeah

I'm taking the weekend off too. The winds are NW which does not favor the RI shore. Tides are not great for nightime either.
I'll get some sleep....

Driving to Maine tomorrow. Probably fish mouth of York river with Christian and his big brother (last chance to do something together before he goes back to school in Vermont).
Put somemore work in on the engine Sunday, do some painting and read the car ads. Totaled my car on Thursday going to buy engine parts. I swear this boat engine is cursed!

Taking my 9 year old son up to Water Country Sat. Hitting either the Back River, Humarock or Cunningham's Sat. night, haven't decided yet. Sunday depends on where the fish were Saturday
