Maco Joe update again

Been talking with Bob (bigbo) and he tells me Joe is down in the dumps.. after that remarkable come back last year I guess things aren’t going so good,,,

Well it’s pay back time for the last correspondence from him (see below) . Looks like snail mail is the only way to get in touch with him...
I’m thinking it would be nice if some sb’ers dropped him a line, I plan to , great time of year for that effort me thinks.. he could use some dough also,, hint hint

Thanks for posting this up Ray. Joe certainly has been going through a lot of struggles. He thought the new kidney he received one year ago would turn his life around. It did in some ways, but other ongoing issues have been dealt Joe's way preventing the positive life changes. Joe has been in the nursing home or hospital since last June instead of being home enjoying the company of his grand kids. He came close to losing a foot due to complications from his diabetes. He overcame that obstacle only to fall and break his hip. That was repaired and then he had a stroke. He hasn't really been the same since and it's sad to see him this way. He has become quite withdrawn.
I haven't been able to pop in to visit him in a while due to ongoing back surgeries. I am planning to soon though.
If anyone would like to take a hint from Ray and help Joe out monetarily, I can help with that by providing my PayPal address and see that Joe or his daughter receive any and all funds. I've been facilitating the same on another site that Joe used to own and admin.
Or just a get well card to the address I provided Ray above would certainly lift Joe's spirits.
