Life Jacket Storage idea

If you are like me, you have too little storage on your boat and one of the bigger items we need to carry is life jackets. I also hate when they are wet, need drying out, and even worse, they need to be scrubbed if mold had started to grow... The last time I hauled out for the year, the life jacket bag suffered fatal zipper failure. So that brings me to this year and needing a solution, I turned to my better half. They are called Magic Bags, and are vacuum bags for clothing, pillows, whatever. The four life vests shrunk to a nice tight size, AND won't get wet as long as it doesn't get punctured. My boat cover fit inside one, after a trip through the laundromat! We got them at BJ's, but available elsewhere. Hope it helps you with storage onboard and at home.
