I’m thankful all my family and friends survived and are vaccinated for the next wave. Hope my SB brothers and sisters dodged the bullet and are enjoying a traditional thanksgiving family feast. We eat so much turkey for lunch it’s Italian for our main course. Travel safe, stuff your face and enjoy a football game and post feast nap.

Enjoy your gatherings with friends and family.
And take a minute to talk with your daughters, sons, grandkids, about relationships... and how to get help if you don't feel safe. Lindsay Smith was gunned down in Salem as she left work by an ex-boyfriend in an attempted murder suicide. Her request for renewed restraining order had been denied.... Lindsay has a marathon road to recovery ahead of her, as does her family. (you can google Salem shooting, or her name) I have already had this talk about relationships and partners with my daughter. It took a bit to make her understand I was not talking specifically about her current relationship, but that this needs be discussed as a teaching moment. It is about how to recognize you need help and where to go to get it. I hope it helps/saves someone pain and anguish in the future. Family first.

First Thanksgiving I have not fished. It was a yearly tradition with all my fishing partners and I. Now they are either dead or don't fish anymore and I just didn't want to fish alone today.

Ricotta pie was worth every penny !!
In the gym for the next 2.5 hours.
Won’t even make a dent.
