Working tomorrow morning then grilling and chilling. Fert the lawns and mulch the flower beds Sunday. Maybe sneak out for some fly fishing at the club Sunday morning.

No boat, back in the suds.

Southbound for a week. All the way south. 90 miles from Cuba from what I am told. First time for me. 40th wedding anniversary trip with my wife that has "put up" with all of my mistresses (fishing and hockey and lacrosse) and travel for work and .... well, you get the picture.

He knows that river in n’ out. Plastics are surefire to way of getting fish. Good luck, fish have been active lately. Anadromous bait fish coming in the river now.

Picked up some near 300 board feet of Rock Maple. Keep me busy for a while, darters/needles. I am going to send one to Spence once the wood air drys and I get around to turning it in the future. Going to take a while for it to dry though.

I’ve got two rock maple boards and a tabletop. Still look brand new after 20 years.

Rockmaple used for my baseball bats. The inserts work well.
I dont use much for lures. I have plenty in shop cause thats what we use for our boxes. Have to seal them well. When i use it I either heat and thinned epoxy or double seal with varnish/ turps.

Brown paper or plastic bag taped to outside of glass to prevent him seeing the reflection that he thinks is another male...

Paul I still seal AYC. Shorter dunk times. Being in the cedar family , it may be overkill.
