You folks realize even though vaxxed its only 93% effective and you could still get covid but the symptoms are not quite as bad right? God I am sick of explaining this!
|

Last night went to the Yard House with my best friend/wife
Saturday I'm relaxing now heading out in a few to start the pool closing process and while it's draining I'm going to paint the floor in our new shed
Sunday finish what doesn't get done Saturday and then out for dinner with the family for my birthday at Seasons 52
Monday up in the air as of now but probably put a second coat of paint in the shed
I also have to find time to replace plywood in the kitchen sink base we had a leak last week and it is toast now

Too many windows in this house, 50+ screens all out, windows washed, outdoor shower and deck water lines blown out, almost time for a beer. Hope to get in an early but chilly round of golf tomorrow and then watch zappe zap the lions hopefully; although I think the defense will win most of the games this year.

FYI, The Covid vaccine does not prevent you from contracting the virus it keeps you from getting really sick and out of the hospital I've gotten 4 shots and still got it over Labor Day weekend. I had a low fever for about 6 hours then felt really run down for a few days
stay safe everyone

On my third booster, I’ve avoided the virus so far but I’m prepared, tough time to be a hormone driven young man, sort of glad those days are decades behind me. Chasing skirts in Covid times must be risky.

That's why I'm still wearing a mask on the bus, or anywhere in a crowd.

Pulled the boat Thursday night, fished the last 3 hours of the incoming before calling it a season, still plenty of fish,I boated 6 fish in the 25 to 30lb class and a number of "youngsters" before the tide ebbed , boat has to be off the dock the 15th, it capped a great season, first year in a long time that I didnt get a single fishless trip.. lobsteringb was excellent and I didnt loose single pot, weekend will be spent doing end of year maintenance and preparing the boat for her winter nap.
