With all of those big blues around, it wouldn't surprise me in the least to see the leader board change at Saturday evening's weigh-in. There were 2-3 years in the late 1980s and 1990s where the winning blue came in during the final weigh-in. I remember one year where the leader board changed 3x. The person leading going into the last day was knocked off the board entirely.
Those were the times when I weighed in 15# and change blues that didn't even get me a 4th daily. Good to see the gators back.

Just arrived in South Dakota for a opening week of Pheasant hunting. 26 hours straight through but such an incredible drive. Hoping for an epic week, last year we shot 155 birds in 4 days.

Start putting together my stuff for a week on The Block with DZ and Huddy in the surf. Just got a 9wt fly reel and line for chasing Albies in The Coast Guard Channel. On Island first ferry on the 24th.

Just saw last night, for first time, some great pics of peacock bass. Someone was there recently and showing a small group of guys some pics of these interesting fish.

Fortunately, I went over the trailer to grease and lube this morning. Discovered a broken leaf spring.... Seems like I replace the four of them not too long ago. Chinese steel. Anyway, I was extremely lucky to get the only five leaf spring and U bolts my local shop had in inventory... So cut out the old and gunned in the new. Boat is out front, and the exterior is 90% power washed. Ran out of energy so the rest can wait until tomorrow... And then the real winter work begins to replace 84 gallon fuel tank.
This is the view from my desk.

It has something to do with your camera's orientation. Sometimes the system can overcome it - sometimes not.
