Wow! Great day! In November!

I see Huddy hasn't bumped into his razor in many months... So is that this winter's beard? Or last winter's beard?

Bob and I fished the Block for a week, 2 weeks ago with DZ and, although I am the oldest, I was the youngest looking in the group. 2 white beards.

No boat, back in the suds.

Likely coming off this morning so I don't scare my 3 month old grand daughter when we visit

Paul, Jersey reports are getting better on the beaches (a very big fish in the full moon pic at Seaside), but the storm may blow that up for a while.

Nice! You were (literally) in my backyard. Sounds like you fished with Mike, I sent him over that way earlier in the week when I had albies blowing up all around me on the beach in that area while blackfishing off one of the jetties. Had them around me for almost 2 hours but only hooked 1 which I proceeded to drop.

We were with Mike and it was a great trip. Conversations covered all the usual suspects (you included) and places (Cutty to MV to Block to CT spots). Looked like the Albies ran up the beaches on the way back in about 11ish. We hooked up on snax and an epoxy jig, but it was a pick of spread out fish with intermittent bait balls on the surface. I am thinking a Hogy Sand Eel may have been a more consistent producer. That is the way it worked on MV this year until we saw Peanuts blowing out of the water. Highly recommend Reel Cast Charters to all interested parties.

I second Bob's recommendation. Mike Roy is a great captain with an awesome boat and an all around good guy.

I will keep an eye out and maybe reach out to a shore guide so we can drive the beaches.

Wayne, you will have to chase them, as usual, but they were there 'en masse'.
