Talking Today or OWW why is my arm hurting

Spent the day TESTING lures

I can say OLIVE/WHITE is the BEST color in the arsenal....

I caught stripers EVERYWHERE I went today, and south side of Nashawena and Cuttyhunk has LARGE right now

At least 8 times today with a 30" fish on the plug while fighting to the boat I saw stripers close to TWICE the size of what I had on

The fall run is ON!

Biggest blue was the only one I found south of the islands today...9lbs and he cleaned my clock on a 6'6 rod..

used to fish cuttyhunk in a 24 foot surfhunter in almost any weather whatsoever

i'd think a 21 foot trophy would be fine out there.... if ya got someone who knows their way around the island

good to hear the rest of the cows are on the rock now

ML go anywhere south or north side, and watch the rocks. Stay away from reefs on west side if you don't know the way around out there.

cannapissit can also get REAL nasty depending on tide (quickest way thru to the south side)

get a good chart of the area LONG before you fish it and study
AND get someone who's knowledgeable of the area

I've been fishing it for years and I still whack props now and then.

Like the old timer said, "Know where every rock is between South West Bluff and Canapitsit. Should, I hit them often enough!"

Don't even try to remember where they are. A good storm can move em!
Just go slow, keep your stern to the beach and keep your eyes open. Watch every swell and swerl or swirl, rock wash.
You don't need to get into the beach to cast to the white water.

As Dilbert said, " If you are not the Lead Dog, the view never changes."

Casting in Canapitsit is real fun if you go around to the Nashawena side and come into the beach behind(north east of) the Rock pile in the middle of the hole.
Back there where those sea ducks are eating the crushed Mussels.
Propellors? You mean those curly bladed things that make your boat vibrate? Yup, got lots of those trophies!
