Sweet. That is where I grew up boating. I don't know if they still do, but PJYC used to have a great youth sailing program when I was a lad. You didn't have to be a member. We would sail out the little dingys to one of the islands past the narrows, beach it and dig clams. good times...
Your boat looks nice.
Zac

Eben,
You should have stopped by and said hello, you were about 100 yards from my boat. Good luck with the boat! The PJYC still has that youth sailing program that Zac mentioned, I see the kids out all the time.

Zacs, he will be in that program- when i was a kid in newport, every summer was spent in sailing classes.
Mike- next time- are you across the pond on the east side on a dock that looks private?

Great boat. Mako's are like tanks you'll love it for a long time. Are you going to put a leaning post on it?

Hey Eb:
I just noticed...no leaning post. I never sit in my CC. I have seats which I will remove this winter and replace with a leaning post. Absolutely the way to go.

my guess is the floor is too soft for seat or L/P.
If not I have two brand new seats with slightly used pedestals for your nebe, to keep the classic look. or go with the L/P.
