Question Rumor?

Have heard, a couple times, water is warming up faster than usual and stripers are expected in the area sooner than usual. Is water temperature responsable for spawning and migration time tables? Have they began to leave the Chesapeak (sp)bay area?

Fact or fiction/

Just the other day I called a friend that guides susquehanna flats area. He said that the water temps are moving to the mid 50s and the spon is on.
They are having 100 fish days mainly catching males with a few good size females in the mix. He also mentioned that numbers were up from over last year
