Wassup for the Weekend??? I'm starting about 40 hours straight of fishing from a boat in the WICC Bluefish Tourney this weekend!!!! Let's Go $200,000 Top Prize (certain restrictions apply...)!!!! Imagine actually looking for bluefish!!! What a sad state of affairs. I am leaving for RI in exactly 50 minutes. I plan on fishing somewhere between Watch Hill and 'Gansett. Got everything I need a 9' rod with Mag Elite, a dozen 6/0 hooks with leaders and a bucket, only need to stop to fill the bucket with slimey creatures. On Sunday I'm taking the boat out of Barn Island with the wife and kids for some lightweight fishing...fluke etc. No bluefish in the plans.
