Cuttyhunk weekend
Ok its time to plan the next weekend to Cuttyhunk. I think we need to keep it to 12 or less so please if you want to go sign up early I do have a list of 5 or 6 that have already said they want to go. I am thinking the last weekend in Sept or the second weekend in Sept then again the second weekend of October?? Any thoughts on when, I have not checked the tides but will tonight.

I would love to try the October trip. I'm scheduled to be in Nantucket Sept 14-28, and my daughter's birthday party is 9/7, so that eliminates me from any September trips.
If you guys go in September, send a report across the sound in a bottle.
But if an october trip is in the works, I'd be very interested.

Ok I am thinking a Fri to Sun. derby Noreaster can taxi 7 over at a time and would cost less than going over on the Alert. If we ask him very nice like he would do if for sure. Then you could come over after work on Fri (two trips) 5 at a time. Also could pick the time to come home on Sun. that way also. What do you think????So far I have John R, Clammer, Milo, SOTB,REDCRRB,GOOSE,SPECIALIST,DUKE41?BLOO,Got Stripers, Chris L, AND ME for sure and two hopefulls. Thats twelve if all go.

I would love to go and I'm hoping by then some of my other distractions will be less of a factor. I could also use a weekend away and a couple large on the end of my line.

Ok GS I added you to the list. I know its a little early but I would like to do Sept. Fri. 6th-Sat. 7th Sun 8th. You would not have to come over on the Fri. you could make it Sat. if need be on the Alert. But I figure some would like the extra night to fish and relax! Then we could do Oct. 11th-12th-13th?? How do you all feel about these dates? My dad is having his operation on the 12th of Sept and I will need to stay with him for one or two weeks thats why so early in Sept plus that leaves John the chance to make it and have the Mass second leg later in the month?? What say ye Captian John

I don't know what John says, but what burns me here is that the weekend of 9/6-9/7, my in-laws will be in. How perfect would that be for me to spend the weekend fishing Cuttyhunk vs. wondering how long my mother-in-law's boyfriend can sit on his fat @$$ watching bad television before his head explodes. This guy is in the Guiness Book of World Records for being the most boring, lazy, couch slug in human history.
Yah, if you guessed I don't like him, you were right.
But my daughter's 5th b-day party is on sunday, so I'm definitely out.
GB, I hope all goes well with your pops.

Ok here is the list I have John R, Clammer, Milo, SOTB, Redcrrb, Goose, Specialist, Duke41, Bloocrab, Got Stripers, Chris L, CR1, Dave S, with me that makes 14 and that will be for the Sept. 6th-7th-8th. Clammer may not be ready by then but would leave it at 13. If anyone does not want to go in Sept but wants to go in Oct. please let me know now. Only thing with the Oct date is it may change due to my dads operation. The Sept date is solid as far as I can see so let me know if you want to go Sept or Oct. or both
