its all about balance. Obama has promised open dialog and transparency and failed to deliver. Brown will break the Dems control and force discussion.

I think your right Jim. People are fed up with the arrogance of our politicians. I hope they are all voted out. Everyone but Liberman and Ron Paul

As an outsider I believe if Coakley loses, the reason are 2 fold.
1) general - The backlash against incumbants. While not an incumbant senator, as AG, people view her more as an "insider" and want to throw all insiders out. HC certainly has something to do w/it also. I thought 1 newscast said that many of Brown's ads don't list his Repub. affiliations.
2) personal - She was a lawyer running against a politician. She got out manuevered and didn't campaign at the grass roots level like Brown. I thought Brown was out much more at meetings, bus stops, etc.
2A) - People like the Yankees in Mass. but won't announce it vocally

In other words, this isn't a referendum on Obama, but there is message in the tea leaves.

This election is incorrectly being made into a public vote about satisfaction with the current HC Reform proposal. There are far too many aspects to what is wrong with the current legislative process, but the national stage (CNN, FoxNews, etc.) are repeatedly making a for/against HC vote.
