Sunpower
Sunpower, a solar company in CA. received 1.2 Billion dollar loan from
the Stimulus Package on the last day $ could be distributed. It will help
the company and provide a whopping 15 new jobs.
Problem is the company posted a 150 million dollar LOSS for the first half
of 2011 and it's debt is 80% higher than it's outstanding shares.
They are also facing class action lawsuites for over stating earnings.
Financial geniuses, spending our money, comes to 80 million dollars
per job. Nice work.
