The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.
1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!
It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

New rules by the NFL random ball checks Pre-game,half time and post
and still no answer from a ten hour deliberation

I'm a lifelong Giants fan, but I have to admit, Brady has proven himself to be one of the best in the game. Do I think deflated footballs have contributed much to his success?? No, I don't, but the fact is he knowingly participated in an act that gave him an unfair advantage. You could almost call it cheating. What irks me is that some fans refuse to see it that way, almost like parents who can't admit when their child has done wrong. They put the blame on others or attempt to call attention to others' wrongdoings. It's likely that other teams are guilty of this, and perhaps more scrutiny needs to be given to this matter, but for now it's Brady and the Pats who are being made an example of.

Why would I read anything into a deliberate smear attack that intentionally leaked false information multiple times to shape the public opinion?

As I've said before, the NFL has about as much integrity as pro wrestling. When most of the players are HGH users a little air out of some footballs pales in comparison.
But who cares, JUST WIN BABY !
Every team out there would kill to go 4 for 6 in 15 years. Rules be damned.

The process is seriously flawed.
Brady did himself no favors by destroying his phone.
If it goes to a federal court, the question will be if the league, as defendant, will be able to subpoena for phone and text records from the carrier. Does anyone really believe that info will disappear by simply destroying a phone???? That info is out there as soon as you hit send.....
League is a mess. Goodell trying to save face and integrity, but won't gain any traction with this event.
I have no doubt that Brady was involved with getting the balls conditioned to a "feel" or being broken in. Many ways to do so. With a group of new balls, presumably supplied for the Indy game, the last option available to get the "feel" would be air pressure. I am convinced he was involved as QB in that aspect, but doubt he was aware of what the PSI was, and probably didn't even know the min/max PSI allowed. The feel would be more important than the PSI and that changes according to temp and usage. BUT, he certainly did not comply or come clean with the investigation, flawed as it was. He did what many would do and tried to cover his azz..... He should have been more forth coming sooner....
The longer this goes on, the worse it will be on his "legacy", which is really what he is fighting for. Oh, another word for that would be money....

All this to cover up the fact that those footballs were never checked pre game other than a squeeze test...that's what this is all about...no doubt in my mind Brady told the stooges how he liked the foot balls PRE GAME...when it was legal to do so... those Refs never bothered to actually put a gauge to them until after the fact... the NFL are the ones covering up...my way of thinking if Brady was that fussy about the PSI.. there was not enough time to gauge the footballs balls to the exact pressure that seems so important to those blinded by hate...meanwhile rapist and domestic abuse/child abuse cases go virtually unpunished... players on certain teams try to end the careers of other players with helmet to helmet head shots and shots to the knees.. owners pump crowd noise and heat into the buildings in an effort to gain a competitive edge...at this point I truly am done with the NFL... I'd rather watch women's soccer or stick a fork in my eye that contribute to the fallacy that is the NFL...it gives me a good reason to make more plugs.

I just know I'm disappointed. I was looking forward to football particularly in light of the miserable season the Red Sox are having.

So if I read this correctly Brady doesn't actually come back until Week 6 because they have an early bye week. Oh Geez, thats a prime time game against the Colts, the team that set this whole thing off. Probably gets playoff like ratings. NFL makes a boat load of cash. League is a juggernaut. They don't loose, even with a dope like Goodell running things.
I think Jimmy G goes 3-1. Inflates (see what I did there) his trade value, Pats sling him to some team before the deadline for picks or a god willing a corner. Brady comes back in F U mode and lays waste to the rest of the season. F U Brady is the Best Brady. We're on to Week 6!

Based on the Kraft news conference looks like this will now get nasty in court. Who knows what will happen but the damage to all brands has been done. Now they may take other people down with them. NFL wanted a court fight - they got it.

The whole thing, regardless of anything being intentional or not, is brilliant because it has made a lot of money and created additional publicity for the NFL.

And it got the focus of attention off Goodell for his lack of action on numerous other serious issues and felonious activities by NFL players.
