I'm a heavy iPad user, it's like my binky.

So even though I didn't really need to upgrade I decided the $185 trade in was worth it to buy a new device with a lot more storage space.

Apple has a 14 day return window.

Today, on day 15 I get an email stating the screen was lifting on my trade in and it was worth nothing, nada, zilch. Seriously...

Sure they'll send the old one back so I'll have a spare, but what a crock

Oh, you just reminded me of the other crappy part. Amazon often has iPads 10% or so off of list but I paid full price to get a better savings through the trade in

Cost is what they are. I think the most you can get off is 10 maybe 15% if a very large retailer is having a sale.
