SAISON

I really liked the Sgt Pepper by Cambridge Brewing Company. I over served myself with this delicacy at Rosé Alley in New Beige. I am thinking of naming my new boat SAISON! Never thought a peppercorn brew would be sooo good.

Tried the Cape Ann Fisherman Saison tonight and wasn't impressed at all. Very weak.

You really can't beat a good bottle conditioned saison. When its bottle conditioned, the yeast in the beer is alive and continues to grow and mature its own unique flavors right in the bottle. A mass produced saison that is force carbonated is not going to ever achieve those fine yeasty notes.
Ipa's are the opposite. You want those fresh and hoppy.
