Trojan Horse

Time to learn from Europe and especially Germany that the immigrants
and refugees coming into these and our country have no plans to assimilate into their new country's ways but only want to disrupt their way of life.

Time to wake up, if it's not too late, stop all immigration from every country
so it is "fair", Pftt, review our quota system, after sending those with over stayed
visas back to their own country and protect our citizens. The random shooting in
Philadelphia and terrorist attacks we have had, starting with the original bombing
by the Shake of the twin Towers, should have been enough to take action. The rapes in Germany show just what we are dealing with. Enough is enough. Atrocious.

President Trump will take care of it....he'll just cite Congressional inaction and start firing off Executive Orders, Spence is fine with this style of leadership

Yep, that's what America was founded on

Think it's divisive now? Trump is going to tear this country apart.

It was founded on opening up to people who buy into our cultural ideas. So far, our Muslims are assimilating fairly well here. But they do a godawful fob of assimilating in most places. We can't have that. Germany and Sweden are on their way to being unrecognizable. You OK if that happens here?

I don't think there's much of a chance of that happening here. Our immigration and refugee policy is much different than in Europe.

Good for Alabama to be smart enough to become pro active rather than following
the Obama example of leading from behind.

Actually our country was founded by a bunch of migrants who crossed the Atlantic and mooched off of the people who had been here for a long time. They had zero interest into assimilating into their culture and systematically slaughtered as many as possible.

leftists are fond of making this point as a counter argument to concerns over our immigration policy....

as with most leftist points, it's unclear as to what the point really is beyond some empty attempt to mock disagreement with their world view ...seems to be something along the lines....

" shut up, your ancestors did the same or worse so you have no right to complain or resist "

this is likely followed with condescending dismissal of the concern as even being legitimate despite ample evidence to the contrary.....as with gun control, socialized healthcare, speech restrictions, centralized governments, immigration policy....the American left looks longingly to Europe as a model and object of their desires ....

when someone points to Europe's examples of failure in these policies, the leftists assumes a dismissive stance and claims that their policies will not have similar results....the European left is ignoring the disaster created by their policies and labeling anyone who objects as intolerant, fascist, Nazis...etc....

there is a concerning dictatorial tone shared throughout the left that simultaneously mocks concerns over misuse and abuse of authority by elected officials and their surrogates while dismissing concerns over Constitutional issues as they push ahead with their agenda ....which is why gun and ammo sales will continue to set records...it's not because hunting has suddenly become really popular

Founded on what, rape, murder Sharia Law and no assimilation by immigrants ? Spence you know better than that.

The way things are going with Obama, there will be nothing left for Trump
or anyone else to tear down or build up.
We have become a shell of a great country since he made his apology tour and Hillary hit the reset button and became all about bleeding heart, PC /BS.

I love it "a shell of a great country."

This is likely why the GOP would lose this election. People know that this country is indeed still pretty great, in fact, it's the best. These Republican candidates running around in a fabricated malaise moaning about how awful and terrible everything is really look pretty foolish.

At least most have stopped blaming the gays.

I take it you don't have a problem with Obama apologizing to the world about America then. In his eyes were not the best and need fundamental change.
You also apparently have no problem with him saying America is the only country that has mass shootings , which is a complete lie
. Seeing how you and Obama see America through the same eyes. You clearly don't think America is the best .

You're gay statement offends me

Here's the thing, his outreach to the Muslim world didn't tell them anything they didn't already know. I think it was a bit of a surprise to many Americans though.

The mass shootings remark wasn't a lie. The context was that developed nations don't incur nearly what we do...and that's a fact.

liberal Tourette's...

an interesting read if you are feeling open minded today...

Decades after the death of Senator Joseph R. McCarthy, twice-elected United States Senator from Wisconsin, the term "McCarthyism" is still widely used as a convenient and easily understood epithet for all that is evil and despicable in the world of politics. Hardly a month passes without some reference to "McCarthyism" in the print or electronic media. Despite the frequency with which the term is invoked, however, it is quite clear that not one critic of McCarthy in a hundred has the slightest idea of what he said and did during that controversial period from 1950 to 1954.

Whether Joe McCarthy was right or wrong, it is important that we know the truth about him.
